One or more features can be set up on your electronic safe lock to meet your security needs.
Most safes can be converted away from mechanical locks with a dial to use an electronic lock with a touch pad.
Electronic locks are as easy to operate as a telephone.
Also electronic locks offer many security features that you cannot get with mechanical locks.
Below are explanations of features

Each user is assigned their own PIN code. If a user no longer requires access to the safe, only that PIN code is deleted. The other users don’t have to learn new PIN codes.
This feature deters armed robberies. When a PIN code is entered, the safe does not open immediately. A preprogrammed amount of time must elapse (1-99 minutes). After that time has gone by, the PIN code is reentered again and the safe will open. Armed robbers want to get in and out quickly and this feature makes that impossible.
An audit lock is a multiple user lock that also records events. The lock records what user opened the lock and what time they did so. The use of audit locks deters internal theft.
The time lock feature makes the lock function only during specified hours. This feature prevents a user from being forced to open the safe after hours when other personnel are not present.
This feature allows the manager to control when subordinates may and may not access the safe. This feature is only available on multiple user locks. The manager inputs their PIN code allowing the other users codes to operate. When the manager puts their PIN code in again, the other users don’t have access to the safe. This stops unauthorized openings.
This feature requires two users’ PINs to open the safe. Both users must be present while the safe is opened so there is more accountability. This increases security.
On these locks, there is a fingerprint reader on the touch pad. A finger is placed on the reader which, if recognized, grants access. Finger print readers can be used alone or in conjunction with a touch pad using pin codes. Fingerprints cannot be stolen. This increases security dramatically.
Safe locks can be connected to alarm systems. Locks can be set up so that a pin code can be input in a specific manner to set off a duress alarm.
One touch pad on the outer door may be set up to operate multiple doors inside the container. Users can be set up to access only doors that they are programmed to enter.
The redundant lock provides two ways to access the container. The primary way is by the touch pad. There is also a traditional mechanical lock with a dial. This is a back up feature that can be used if the electronic lock fails. These locks offer extra reliability to users that keep inventory in safes. This lock is for safe users that can not afford lockout situations.
